The appropriate time for planting starts mid-August and lasts over September and October until November. It only needs a moderately fertile and moderately moist garden soil. All narcissi require watering during dry springs. The soil reaction should be slightly acidic or neutral. Narcissus is a plant fully resistant to frost and does not normally require winter covering, we recommend, however, to apply a layer of dried leaves or mulch in colder regions. Take the covering off when the vegetation period starts, water the plants and feed them with multi-component fertilizer. Daffodils can grow on the same site for 4 to 8 years. We recommend to excavate the bulbs every 2 to 3 years.
