The 'Autumn Sunburst' dahlia is a variety that produces large red-yellow flowers that hang atop tall, erect stems. Slightly twisted fiery petals can be added as an attractive, warm accent to a garden composition. Presented dahlia variety can be used in many different ways. Its exceptionally attractive flowers will take over seasonal flower beds and larger plantings on lawn edges. Distinctly, vividly coloured, and large dahlia flowers would also look good near a terrace or place of relaxation. Discussed species is almost indispensable in arranging rural gardens. It allows to create incredible, colourful, charming compositions with ornamental sunflowers and the subtler garden cosmos.

Plant dahlias on sunny and partially shady sites. Choose spots that are sheltered from wind to protect frail stems from breaking and other injuries. Staking or use of other supports is an alternative solution to this problem. Grow dahlia about 50 centimetres apart, as this species is characterized by a rather vigorous growth. From April to June, the tuberous rootstocks should be planted about five centimetres deep.  Dahlia develops particularly well in sandy-clay, fertile, and permeable soil. It requires watering during the entire vegetation period. Wilted flowers must be removed to stimulate plants to produce new buds. Dahlia requires fertilizing too. You can use manure, compost, or mineral fertilizers with limited nitrogen content.  Dahlia belongs to plants that are sensitive to low temperatures. Cut the shoots right above the ground after the first frost and excavate the tuberous rootstocks. Be careful not to damage them. After they have dried a bit, remove the superfluous soil and put the rootstocks into baskets or open boxes with sand, peat, or sawdust. Store dahlia rootstocks in a cool, dry place until the next planting in spring.

Each package contains 1 piece of the first choice 'Autumn Sunburst' dahlia rootstock. Basic plant growing instructions can be found on the package.
