The impressive Burning Love dahlia is a bushy plant that grows from underground tubers. It produces semi-cactus flowers that take on a bright red colour and adorn the garden from July to October. The Burning Love dahlia grows up to 120 centimetres tall. Its shoots, that are densely covered with leaves, spread broadly and form up to 80 centimetres wide tufts. These plants look great both on borders and as solitary plants on lawns or in garden corners chosen specially for them. Plants with smaller subtler flowers harmonize with the presented dahlia very well. It can also be accompanied by delicate airy grasses. This tall growing and exuberantly flowering dahlia is a plant that you should have in your garden to prolong the summer. Red flowers of the Burning Love variety effectively and charmingly revive flower beds and planters in the second half of summer.

Dahlia rootstock should be planted on flower beds in May, preferably in the second half of the month. This plant likes sunny situations and soils that are rich in nutrients. Make sure that the ground is permeable and constantly yet moderately moist. We recommend adding compost to the soil to improve its properties. This natural fertilizer will also enrich the soil with an additional portion of nutrients. You should not plant its bulbous roots too deep. We recommend watering and feeding dahlia with suitable fertilizers during the entire vegetation period. Frost-sensitive dahlia tubers must be dug out in autumn after the first frost. Cut the blackened, wilted stems right above the ground. Clean and dry the rootstocks. After disposing of the excess soil, place the tubers inside boxes or baskets, cover with peat or sawdust, and place in a room that secured from frost. Leave them in such conditions until late spring when you can plant them again.

Each package contains 1 first class rootstock of the Burning Love dahlia. Basic plant growing instructions can be found on the package.
