Large, double flowers and fluid colour transitions are the standout features of 'Labyrinth Twotone'. Each flowerhead blends several shades of pink, from very pale to much deeper tones, finished with a subtle creamy centre. This shifting mix of colours brings the garden to life beautifully. The plant grows fairly tall, so it is best given a position slightly further back in the border. It will easily rise above other perennials there, providing an interesting, multicoloured effect right through to autumn.
The best time for planting is from April to May.
Plant the tuber at a depth of 6-8 cm.
Allow 50-60 cm between plants.
This variety reaches 80-100 cm.
Flowers from July to October, offering a long period of full ornamental value.
This plant does not overwinter in the ground, so it must be lifted before winter.
'Labyrinth Twotone' is well suited to mixed borders and group planting, where its two-tone colouring creates subtle transitions between shades. It is also suitable for cutting, as the flowers hold their shape well in a vase. This variety combines well with perennials in shades of white, lilac and apricot.
