Dahlia 'Nonette' brings an exceptionally warm blend of salmon-red tones with a striking extra detail. Its petals are dusted with tiny red speckles, giving each fully opened flower its own distinctive pattern. The colours shift smoothly from deeper red through pastel pink and orange to a golden accent at the very centre. Although this variety can grow quite tall and is ideal for the deeper parts of a border, it also copes surprisingly well in containers. Given a large enough pot, it will decorate a sunny patio with this unusual speckled display for most of the season.
Plant the tubers from April to May.
The recommended depth is 5-7 cm.
Place the plants 40-50 cm apart.
This variety reaches 80-110 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
It is not frost hardy, so the tubers should be dug up for winter.
Dahlia 'Nonette' is well suited to perennial borders, group plantings and pots placed on patios. Its changeable, warm colouring combines well with varieties in cream, purple and green tones. The flowers are also suitable for cutting - in a vase they stay fresh for a long time and retain their bold petal pattern.
The tubers are carefully selected.
The pack contains 1 tuber. The label includes basic growing information.
