Dahlia Optic Illusion (Dahlia) is a very decorative variety thanks to its large inflorescences that are filled with a mix of purple–pink and white petals. This variety grows quite tall, up to 90 cm. Dahlia Optic Illusion blooms abundantly and long, from beginning og July until October. This beautiful variety will form an unquestionable decoration of every border and it looks particularly well planted in larger groupings at the background of a hedge or wooden fence.

Cultivation of dahlias starts in May. Rootstocks are planted into a carefully prepared soil enriched with compost or universal plant fertilizer. Sunny sites with fertile, moderately moist soil that is rich in humus work best in dahlia cultures. These plants do not winter in the ground and their rhizomes should be stored in a cool, dry places over the winter.
