Dahlia 'Pasolini' has fully double flowers in which intense red is clearly combined with yellow. The petals are also speckled, giving each bloom a striking, multicoloured pattern. This is a medium-height plant with strong, rigid stems. That makes it an excellent choice for the middle of a border, where it grows steadily without the need for constant staking.
Planting is best started in April or May, when the soil is well warmed and the risk of frost has passed.
Place the tuber at a depth of 5-10 cm.
The recommended spacing between plants is 40-60 cm.
The plant reaches a height of 80-90 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
The tubers should be lifted after the first frosts and stored in a cool, dry place until the next season.
'Pasolini' works well in mixed borders, group plantings and as a bold specimen plant. Its two-tone flowers combine well with varieties in shades of red, orange and cream. It is also suitable for cutting - in a vase it keeps its freshness and colour intensity for many days.
