Dahlia - Que Sera - Two-tone elegance, star for borders and bouquets - Tuber - 1 pc

Dahlia 'Que Sera' catches the eye with its two-tone flowers and striking anemone form. The outer white petals create a pale border around the densely filled centre, which takes on a deeper pink shade. As it grows quite vigorously, this plant is best placed towards the back of garden arrangements, where it will rise beautifully above lower-growing species. This contrasting blend of colours brings an exceptionally fresh effect that will easily enliven any border. Strong, stiff stems also make these distinctive flower heads excellent for cutting and arranging in home bouquets.

Planting time

Tubers are best planted from April to May.

Planting depth

The recommended planting depth is 5-7 cm.

Spacing

Plant 60-70 cm apart to give them enough room to grow.

Height

Reaches 100-120 cm, making it an impressive feature in the garden.

Flowering period

Flowers from August to October, providing a long-lasting display of colour.

Overwintering

This dahlia is not frost-hardy, so the tubers should be lifted and stored in cool rooms over winter.

Use

Dahlia 'Que Sera' performs well in borders and group plantings, where its two-tone flowers are clearly visible. It is also suitable as a cut flower - the flower heads stay fresh in a vase for a long time. Thanks to its height, it can be planted in the middle or at the back of a border alongside perennials in contrasting colours.
