The Longfields Beauty daylily is one of the varieties whose pastel flowers shine in all surroundings. Its lush clumps, growing up to 60 centimetres tall, consist of bent, narrow, long leaves. Large, cup-shaped, exotic flowers take on a creamy-pink colour. Petal edges are decorated with a delicate frill. These fleshy flowers are complemented by long, curved stamens growing from the centre of each calyx. Daylily flowers in summer, developing new buds on slender stems daily. They come in impressive numbers, counted in hundreds. The exceptional beauty of the presented daylily is the reason why it is worth planting this long-lived perennial on a flower bed or border. The excellent durability of these plants comes in handy both in home gardens and urban greenery.

Lilies grow best in the sun, but they also tolerate semi-shaded places. However, do not forget that completely shaded situations could affect the quality of flowering, and ultimately lead disappearance of flowers. Daylily is more tolerant when it comes to the soil type. A moderately fertile, loose, and permeable soil offers optimal conditions for this plant. In general, daylilies grow well in most garden soils that have been previously enriched with a dab of compost. You can plant daylily all season long, from April to October. Bury rhizomes shallowly in a well-loosened substrate. Leave each plenty of space, as they quickly spread. Daylilies winter in the ground and can cope with periodic shortages of water. Only minimal care allows them to grow at the same site for years.

Each package contains one seedling of the daylily Longfields Beauty. Essential plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
