Daffodil "Doctor Witteveen" (Narcissus) dazzles with its large, double, yellow-white flowers that do not at all resemble the classical daffodils. This charming plant grows up to 40 cm tall and produces strong, erect stems surrounded by erect, linear leaves. The exceptional flowers emerge from this beautiful setting: six broad, milk-white tepals form a background for the frizzled, ornamentally split corona (trumpet). This unusual shape should appeal to all lovers of plants with large, double flowers.

Bulbs of this presented variety should be planted into permeable, moderately fertile, moist soil on a sunny or partially shady site. In the latter locations the blooms might appear a little later, yet retain freshness for a longer period of time.
