The double-flowered begonia is one of the prettiest, long-flowering plants for the garden and various types of containers. Its neat, compact, low bushes with lush, attractive foliage, will diversify the decoration of a balcony or a garden border. Appreciated for its beauty and generous flowering, begonia is suitable for almost any arrangement as the plant will give it a unique charm. The unique, copper colour of rose-shaped flowers nicely warms these compositions, making them more expressive. The plant reaches 20 to 30 centimetres in height and produces thick and fragile heart-shaped leaves. The lush flowering of begonias begins at the end of May and lasts until the first frost. These plants look great in containers and boxes that can be easily placed anywhere in the garden or on a terrace.

Begonias are considered easy-to-grow plants. In order to accelerate their flowering, it is practiced to plant tubers in containers, starting from the end of January. Grow begonia seedlings in warm and bright rooms. Proper care allows you to obtain strong, well-developed seedlings. You can transfer begonias outside after May 15, when the risk of frost has passed. Presented species prefers slightly acidic soil with a high humus content. It requires a semi-shaded position that is also sheltered from the wind. Water plants moderately yet regularly. Feeding begonias with liquid multi-componet fertilizer is highly recommended. Begonia tubers need to be protected from frost, so dig them out of the ground before winter. Store cleaned and dried tubers covered with sand or sawdust in a dry, airy room at a temperature of 7 to 12⁰C.

Each package contains two tubers of the double-flowered begonia. Basic plant facts and a quick growing guide were printed on the packaging label.
