Double tulip "Flaming Margarita" - 5 pcs package

The "Flaming Margarita" tulip (Tulipa) that develops light flowers will be like a fresh wind in your garden arrangements. These plants grow circa 40 cm tall and therefore are great cut flowers. This rather early variety decorates your garden with its blooms in April already. The large, double inflorescences of the "Flaming Margarita" tulip delight not only with their size, but also with an intriguing colour. The creamy-white petals are adorned at the bottom with purple-red smudges. They look terrific on borders and flower beds, particularly when planted in larger groupings.

This species likes sunny sites, although it may also grow in partial shade. Fertile and permeable soil is the key to successful cultivation. We recommend to use a multicompound fertilizer, because the well-fed plants would bloom abundantly. Bulbs of the "Flaming Margarita" tulip should be planted in autumn. We suggest to plant them 10 cm deep 10-15 cm apart. Excavate the bulbs every 3-4 years, clean them and store over the summer in dry room. Then plant on a new site. This frost resistant cultivar does not need to be excavated before the winter.
