The 'Tom Thumb' dwarf nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus nanum ) offered here is a unique selection of colour varieties that proudly display the most beautiful colours of summer. It consists of seeds of dwarf nasturtium whose petals take on intense shades of yellow, orange and red. This fiery mix of colours will adorn flower pots and boxes on external windowsills or hung on balustrades. Due to its limited height (30-40 cm) and a compact, bushy habit, the 'Tom Thumb' dwarf nasturtium is also a perfect candidate for flower beds and borders. Not only its grand, funnel-shaped flowers with extremely delicate petals display ornamental value. The round, peltate leaves are also worth noting. Both the flowers and leaves sit on long stalks. The foliage creates a dense, intensely green background for the multicoloured buds that develop a bit later.

Seeds of the 'Tom Thumb' dwarf nasturtium should be sown directly onto the field or into pots in mid-spring. Regardless of whether you plan to cultivate them in the field or in containers, choose a warm and sunny site. The offered variety is very easy to handle and has no special soil requirements. It likes every humous, not too heavy and moist soil. The miniature, multi-coloured low growing nasturtium with decorative leaves is not only beautiful but also useful. Its delicate flowers are edible and can be added to summer salads. Their taste is defined as expressive, slightly spicy, similar to radish. The flowering of the proposed variety lasts from July until the first October frosts.

Each package contains 5 grams of the 'Tom Thumb' dwarf nasturtium seed. The growing tips and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
