Low growing garden nasturtium "Empress of India" (Tropaeolum majus nanum Empress of India) is a charming, intensely coloured variety recommended for cultivation on elevated borders and in all kinds of containers. From July until October its broadly branched shoots are densely covered with funnel-shaped, scarlet-orange blooms that reach up to 5 cm in diameter. The variety presented in our store also produces ornamental, characteristically shaped round leaves with a diameter of 7-8 cm. They take on a mat-green colour and attactive, lighter veins.

Compact, tuft habit and low height (the plant grows maximum 30 cm tall) make low growing garden nasturtium "Empress of India" a great candidate for decorating balcony boxes, tall pots, hanging baskets or a front of a border. It is worth noticing, that the plant offered here, does not require any special conditions - it prefers sunny sites and permeable soil that does not overdry and is moderately fertile.
