The Else Schluck false goat's beard is a charming perennial plant. Shapely tufts of feathery leaves crowned with airy, fluffy clusters of flowers are the combination that only Astilbe plants can offer. The undisputed charm of the plant combined with easy growing make this plant a common guest in home gardens and on allotments. False goat's beard, a member of the Saxifragaceae family produces dense tufts of small, dentate leaves. Compact, erect tuft is at the same time airy and therefore harmonizes with many other plants. Plant of the presented variety grows 60 centimetres tall during the flowering period. It stands out with carmine-red, conical clusters of flowers, whose charm is undeniable. It flowers in summer. False goat's beards are recommended for shady and slightly shady spots. You can grow them in the ground and in a pot. This spectacular species will thrive by a pond, on moister flower beds and lawns.

Successful cultivation of false goat's beard requires planting the rhizome in a fertile, permeable soil with a slightly acidic reaction.
