Charming grape hyacinths develop clusters of tiny, predominantly blue, bell–shaped flowers. The feather grape hyacinth (Muscari „Plumosum”) is a truly unique character among them, as it develops hairy blooms that mingle and form a dense, light inflorescence that takes on a nice, violet–pink colour. Single, erect stems that end with said inflorescences grow ca. 20 cm tall and are surrounded by the grassy, green ground shoots. The variety presented here blooms in April.

Bulbs are planted in the ground at the end of summer or in autumn, preferably 6 – 8 cm deep .The feather grape hyacinth does not differ from its relatives in regard to its popular relatives. It likes permeable, humous, not too moist soils. It is completely frost–resistant and may stay on one site for five years. It grows equally well in the full sun and in partial shade. Feather grape hyacinths look stunning in larger groupings, planted in 8 x 8 cm spacings. A group of the feathery, pastel–coloured inflorescences could quickly become a decoration of a border, rock garden, lawn or pot.

One package contains 100 pieces of bulbs sized 7/8 cm in circumference. Bulbs offered in our store were produced in the Netherlands.
