Golden-yellow multiflora rose is a plant that you cannot get enough of. Its double or semi-double flowers that appear on thorny, stiff shoots strike with their exceptional charm. Their vivid, lasting colour contrasts nicely with dense, shiny, dark green foliage. Flowers of the offered rose variety measure up to ten centimetres in diameter. They are relatively flat when fully developed and have visible anthers in the middle. Three to seven flowers grow on average on one stem, making the plant a real looker. Compact, erect shrubs consist of medium large dark green leaves. Erect shoots of a multiflora rose survive summer heat well. Black leaf spot may sometimes appear, yet it does not hamper plant's development in a substantial way. A well rooted rose shrub grows about seventy centimetres tall and fifty centimetres wide. That relatively compact size allows you to grow it not only the traditional way, in the garden, but in a planter or box too.

Rose belongs to the most popular ornamental plants. It likes sunny situations, hence the southern exposure would be perfect for it. Plant rose seedlings in a fertile, humous soil, that has been thoroughly cultivated. We also recommend using widely available rose soil. They give plants excellent growing conditions and supply them with the necessary nutrients.

You can soak rose seedling roots in water for three to four hours before planting. Remove damaged or broken roots afterwards. Plant seedlings on holes large enough to spread the roots freely, three to five centimetres under the soil surface. Water plants abundantly after covering them with earth.
