Planting time

Plant Sparaxis bulbs outdoors in spring, from the second half of April, once the risk of frost has passed. For pots and containers, planting is also possible in autumn, from mid-September to the end of October. After planting in containers, keep them in a bright, cool place protected from frost. In spring, move the containers outdoors to encourage earlier growth and enjoy blooms sooner.

Planting depth

Bulbs should be planted at a depth of 6–8 cm.

Planting spacing

In garden beds, leave 10 cm between bulbs. In pots and planters, spacing can be slightly closer—5–7 cm—allowing you to form dense, decorative clumps.
