Hippeastrum – amaryllis – Cherry Nymph® is a truly magnificent variety producing huge, double, cherry-red flowers. This perennial, offered here in our store, is very easy in cultivation and will pay back for a sunny spot on a windowsill or balcony with quick and abundant blooming. Hippeastrum Cherry Nymph® develops erect, stiff flowering stalks that grow 40-50 cm tall. Bowl-shaped, extremely large blooms consisting of tongue-shaped petals develop atop these stalks in clusters 2 to 4 flowers each. Blooms of this variety that is available in our store are double and therefore extremely ornamental. Hippeastrum leaves – narrow, stiff, vividly green and shiny, gathered in rosettes at the top of the bulb – also show ornamental value.

Hippeastrum – amaryllis – Cherry Nymph® does not have special growing requirements. It likes light, permeable, humous soils and sunny sites. It requires regular watering during the flowering period and prefers dry soil during the dormancy stage. The perennial offered in our store blooms already within 4-8 weeks after planting the bulbs.
