Oriental lily 'Josephine' is the embodiment of delicacy and elegance, easily bringing charm and splendor to any landscape. Its intense and undoubtedly charming scent will fill your garden with an unforgettable fragrance.

Imagine a lush explosion of fragrant, light pink flowers that become the real pearl of your garden. Bright red spots and subtle pink streaks on the petals give these impressive flowers a unique, striking appearance. The scent of these flowers is sweet and sensual, like an exclusive perfume.

Lily 'Josephine' blooms for about eight weeks, from mid-July to August, reaching a height of 90 to 120 cm. These flowers are cup-shaped, consist of six slightly retracted petals, and their diameter reaches up to 15-20 cm. Emerald, lanceolate leaves are arranged spirally along the stem, which gives the plant a refined look.

These unique lilies are perfect for filling gaps in flower beds or planting a dozen or so to become the highlight of your garden. For those who do not have a large garden space, the 'Josephine' lily is also perfect as a potted flower on the balcony or terrace. It is also an ideal cut flower - delicate petals and intense aroma make it look and smell great in any bouquet or flower arrangement. Just remember to remove the anthers before composing the bouquet to avoid difficult-to-remove stains on clothes or furniture.

Oriental lilies prefer sunny to semi-shaded positions. Although it tolerates some shade, full sun allows for the best flower development. Oriental lilies benefit from fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic reaction (pH approx. 6-6.5). It is a good idea to add compost or organic materials to it, which will help retain moisture, but also ensure proper drainage. Oriental lilies do not like dryness, but they also do not tolerate excess water. The soil should be constantly moderately moist. It is important to avoid flooding - hence the importance of well-drained soil.

Oriental lilies benefit from regular fertilization during the growth and flowering period. Fertilizers rich in potassium and phosphorus will be the most beneficial. Depending on the climate zone, oriental lilies may require covering for the winter. In colder climates, you may need to dig up the bulbs and store them in a cool but frost-free place until spring.

The package contains one 'Josephine' oriental lily bulb. The product label provides basic information about the plant and its cultivation.
