The Lilyfire tulip belongs to lily-flowered cultivars and enchants with its fiery colour. Its magnificent, phenomenally long, pointed, and arched petals are sometimes poetically described as cheerful flames. Flowers that delight with warm colours unfold in April and May on erect, forty-five to fifty-five centimetres tall stems. Lilyfire is a tulip of great versatility. Its presence is highly valued in the garden, in pots, and in vases, as cut flower. Its slender, red and yellow flowers contrast splendidly on the background of green lawns and constitute an intriguing addition to the other bulb flowers on spring flower beds. The lily-flowered tulip of the variety offered here in our store adds warmth to pot arrangements and lights up vases, providing excellent material for bouquets that burst with colour.

To bring out the full charm of lily-flowered tulips, it is worth planting them in full sun, where they will open wide. Tulip as species has no special soil requirements, but please keep in mind that fertile and permeable soil is one of the key factors in production of healthy and beautifully coloured flowers.

One package contains five bulbs of the Lilyfire tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant facts and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
