The Longfields Pearl daylily delights with the elegance of its creamy-white flowers. These broad cups that contrast nicely with the greenery look great on garden borders and in pots on a balcony. Many gardeners decide to grow this undemanding, stunning beautiful perennial. This plant develops a compact, sturdy, bushy habit, and reaches a height of about 40 centimetres. Linear, arching leaves bend sideways. Flowers appear on naked stalks that are taller than leaves. Each stalk holds a few or even a dozen buds on its top. New flowers open every day, ensuring an amazing show in July and August. The scented, light flowers constitute a picturesque complement of a pond edge or a covering for the surroundings of tall trees and their dispersed light.

Plant the Longfields Pearl daylily 30 to 50 centimetres apart. We recommend soaking rhizomes in water for an hour or two before planting. Plant them in spring and at the beginning of autumn on sunny sites and in fertile, permeable soil. Presented species tolerates less favourable weather. We recommend adding some compost to the soil to improve its quality. The stable soil humidity is the factor that needs to be taken care of at the early stage. You will grow the most beautiful daylily flowers on a sunny site and in partial shade. Daylily of this variety is of course hardy and can be grown on the same site for several years.

Indicated price is valid for 1 premium quality daylily rhizome of the presented variety. The bag with the rhizome is equipped with a label that contains basic plant facts and growing instructions.
