Multi-flower begonia will thrive in partial shade, as this plants prefers warm and wind-sheltered sites. It likes humous, aerated and nutrient-rich soil. These plants, particularly those grown in containers, require regular watering, as the soil needs to be constantly moist in order for them to develop well. Tubers of the plants kept indoors may be planted in March already. Planting outside may take place no earlier than mid-May, after the risk of frost has passed. We recommend to plant them 5-8 cm deep, 15-20 cm apart. These plants are frost-sensitive, so the tubers need to be excavated before winter.
