The white-flowered Multiflora Maxima begonia allows you to introduce fresh, pure colour to your garden. These low-growing, 25 to 35 centimetres, plants produce double flowers in large numbers. The elegant, compact habit of the tuberous begonia looks great in a planter or a pot but the abundant flowering can also decorate an edge of a flower bed. The white Multiflora Maxima impresses with its spectacular flowering from the beginning of summer to the beginning of autumn. The unique, exuberant display of the flowers attracts the eye, allowing you to direct attention to the places you care about the most. The emerald green leaves perfectly emphasize the colour of the flowers and all the details of their intricate form.

Begonia prefesr fertile, humous soil with a slightly acidic reaction. Make sure that the plants grow in a constantly moderately moist soil. Regular fertilization promotes health and abundant flowering of begonias. This species is known for its preference for semi-shady places, but diffused light also serves them well. Begonia is a thermophilic plant and need to be protected from low temperatures. For this reason, planting tubers in the ground is only possible from mid-May. In order to obtain plants that flower outdoors early, plant tubers in pots indoors at the end of winter. Transfer well-developed seedlings outside after the last frost. Begonia tubers need to be dug up in the fall if you wish to grow them next year. After spending the winter in containers filled with sawdust or a peat/sand mixture, they will delight with their beauty again.
