The MP-1 Quick growing all-purpose aftercrop plant selection produces plenty of green mass that you can use as fodder or harrow it into the soil as valuable green fertilizer. It contains plant species that are well known for their phytosanitary properties and blocking weeds. This selection has been composed especially to enrich the soil with large amount of humus that improves soil quality and structure. The diverse, spreading root systems of plants that make up the MP-1 selection aerate, loosen, and nourish the soil with minerals. Buckwheat and lacy phacelia are also valued melliferous plants that make the area more attractive for the pollinating insects. All plants, whose seeds are included in the presented selection, are undemanding and grow well even on lesser soils. The presented MP-1 selection is recommended for sowing before corn, cereals, and particularly root vegetables due to the excellent nematode-killing properties of the white mustard and oilseed radish. We do not recommend to plant this aftercrop selection at rapeseed growing sites.
