Flowering period

In the ground, flowers appear from June to August. In containers and with early planting, flowering can start as soon as May. Blooms last for 6 to 8 weeks. The abundance and longevity of flowers make ranunculus ideal for beds and bouquets alike.

Winter hardiness

Red ranunculus is not winter hardy outdoors. After flowering and once the leaves have dried, bulbs should be lifted, cleaned, and dried, then stored in a dry, well-ventilated place at 5–10°C.
