"Red Devon" daffodil is definitely worth your attention thanks to its large, sunny yellow flowers. It belongs to large-cupped daffodils whose flowers may measure up to 11 centimetres in diameter. Pale yellow flowers surround a bright orange corona with a slightly frilled edge. Flowers appear in March and April, usually only after the spring is in full bloom. Presented variety grows 40 to 50 centimetres tall. The wonderfully coloured flowers constitute a cheerful complement for spring borders, where they harmonise with less tall daffodil varieties, such as "Minnow", "Cheerfulness", and "Tete-a-Tete". Presented variety can also be planted in large pots. We also recommend to use the excitingly scented blooms as cut flowers.

Plant daffodil bulbs in autumn, about ten centimetres deep. Daffodils look best in groups, but we still recommend to plant bulbs fifteen centimetres apart. Choose sunny or partially shady sites. Permeable and moderately fertile soil suits these plants best. "Red Devon" daffodils winter well in the ground.
