The Regal Splendor hosta is a broad, tuft-forming perennial that reaches substantial size. A fully developed plant grows 70 to 90 centimetres tall and almost 100 centimetres wide. Large, dark green leaves with a light edge are the characteristic feature of this variety. The centre of a leaf blade looks bluish what accentuates the bicolour colouring even more. The leaves are additionally waved. Shoots holding loose clusters of bell-shaped, pastel-purple flowers appear over the imposing tufts in summer. This marvellous perennial perfectly complements home gardens, parks, and public green spaces.  Its substantial size allows to grow it as a solitary plant, the main part of an arrangement, or a cover for lower parts of taller plants that have only sparse foliage there. The Regal Splendor hosta looks great planted in larger groups near water reservoirs.

Hostas thrive in partial shade, on sheltered spots. They feel well in a loose, fertile, and moist soil. Hosta spreads rapidly. Do not forget about it at the planting stage. We recommend growing these plants in 50 x 30 centimetres spacings. It is recommended to mulch hosta growing area with gravel or bark. Hosta is a sturdy species that winters in the garden. It can grow on the same spot for even 25 years.

The price quoted here is valid for ten premium-class rhizomes of the presented Hosta variety. The bag with the rhizome is equipped with a label that contains basic plant facts and growing instructions.
