The Scarlet Baby Kaufmanniana tulip enjoys a high standing among spring flowers. It has many fans, whom it has seduced with red flowers with a bright yellow base, and a modest size of ten to twenty centimetres. Scarlet Baby tulip produces elongated, slender, eye-catching calyxes. Their size only adds to the decorative properties of this variety - they are disproportionately large in relation to the height of the plant. Low, thick stems surrounded with lanceolate leaves carry magnificent calyxes and ensure that plants can resist unfavourable weather conditions. Scarlet Baby petals open wide, making this tulip the more ornamental and inviting pollinating insects inside. Tulips of the presented variety bloom in March, cheering up edges of flower beds, lawns. and paths. All low-growing tulips, including this one, can add a joyful touch to the usually severe and rough rock and alpine gardens. The red patches of blooming tulips look wonderful on sunny slopes and embankments. You can also diversify colourful group plantings under deciduous trees with them.

A tulip of this genus is easy to grow, but it is necessary to follow a few basic rules to fully use its potential. Choose a sunny site for tulips, even if the flowers last longer in delicate shade. Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, preferably between mid-September and mid-October, at a previously prepared site. Loosen the soil thoroughly, so you can cover bulbs with soil. Water the place immediately after planting. Once is enough, but do not save on water this time. Tulips can winter in the ground and grow at the same place for a few years in row. Do not forget to fertilize, weed, and cultivate the soil regularly.

One package contains five bulbs of the Scarlet Baby tulip, sized 11/12 centimetres in circumference. Basic plant information and growing instructions were printed on the package label.
