"Tiny Timo" tulip is a hybrid of T. hageri and T. aucheriana.. This marvellous plant can be grown on lower borders, flower beds, in rock gardens, and planters. The pink-red flowers of that tulip have pointed petals that add colour to various arrangements. It looks great in natural plantings that simulate mountain meadows. Small rosettes of thin leaves adorned with distinct colour of the flowers perfectly fill empty spots on the edges of sunny compositions and adorning large pots on a balcony or terrace. One of the main features of the presented variety is its long flowering period that lasts from April to May. Apart from that, this tiny tulip stands out with high resistance to diseases, pests, and low temperatures.

Every flower of the "Tiny Timo" tulip consists of pointed petals that are often adorned with a green stripe on the outside. When you look at them from the above, the fully open flowers are star-shaped. Then, they display a contrasting white-purple bottom of the calyx on which dark anthers stand. Tufts of these 10 to 20 centimetres tall plants spread quickly thanks to new bulblets and form magnificent fields that delight with their wild appearance.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn. September and October are the best time to find for them an appropriate place in the garden. Grow tulip bulbs in a fertile and permeable soil. The optimal planting depth for this variety is 6 to 10 centimetres. They require a sunny site, but can also grow in partial shade. Tulips of that group are easy to grow, do not require any special care. You do not have to dig them out before the winter.

Each package contains 50 bulbs of the "Tiny Timo" tulip, sized 6/7 cm in circumference. Basic plant information can be found on the product label.
