Tulip "Witty Picture" belongs to the exceptional Triumph tulip varieties that stands out with a beautiful, pastel colouring of the flowers and unusual shape of the petals. It is considered one of the erect and tall varieties, as it grows 40-50 cm on average. It blooms end of April and at the beginning of May together with the lily-flowered and Darwin hybrids. It develops large blooms consisting of long, ornamentally bent, spiky, white-pink petals that please the eye. The "Witty Picture" tulip looks stunning in geometrical compositions with other Triumph tulips, such as the white "White Dream", purple "Negrita", pink-yellow "Dragon King" and "Tom Ponce" as well as with lily-flowered varieties in deep, dark colours, such as "Maytime", "Lasting Love", "Burgundy", "China Pink" and others.

Bulbs of the "Witty Picture" tulip should be planted in autumn into humous, fertile, permeable, not too acidic soil on sunny sites. This proposed variety, similarly to its other tall relatives looks great in larger groupings. It perfectly fits onto borders and for cut flowers.
