Wallflower (Cheiranthus cheiri) is a biennial plant whose flowers delight with a palette of sunny colours and pleasant aroma. It grows 25 - 40 cm tall and develops straight stems that end with flowers in the blooming period. They are gathered a few each in dense, erect clusters. They take on different shades of yellow, orange and red. The first blooms appear already in spring and develop gradually until summer. Because of the early blooming period this plant is recommended for arrangements with spring bulb flowers. Growing wallflower in the vicinity of relaxation spots or in pots as balcony and terrace cultivation will allow you to fully enjoy its fragrance.

Wallflower seeds should be sown late in the spring onto a seed bed. You should expect the emergence within 1 - 2 weeks. Transplant the seedlings to the site where they are supposed to bloom in autumn or spring. Cover the young plants with agrotextiles before the winter. They will bloom in the spring the following year. Wallflower prefers sunny and warm sites, although it also tolerates partial shade. Sandy-clay, permeable soils rich in nutrients and water should prove as the best.

Each package contains 1 g of wallflower seeds. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
