False Sunflower, sometimes called Summer Sun, is a perennial that grows up to 120 centimetres in height. Its flowers are a lovely goldish-yellow and form basket-shaped inflorescences that greatly resemble sunflowers. This easy to grow and very little demanding variety is resistant to drought and flowers abundantly from July to October. False Sunflower is recommended for perennial beds, larger groupings grown in gardens or parks, and for ornating the less decorative parts of parks or gardens. It is sometimes used as a cut flower.
