Cabbage "Kalina F1" is recommended for field cultivation. One of the most valued cabbage cultivars belongs to rather late varieties. Its vegetation cycle lasts approximately 145 days, but thick, tasty leaves are worth the wait. They can be used in many ways. It is intended to satisfy the demand on the fresh market, but can be successfully stored, too. It can be processed and one needs to mention that it tastes great as sauerkraut and in other pickled salads.

"Kalina F1" variety stands out with high resistance to breaking. Its heads consist of nicely coloured, green-blue leaves that are not very densely packed and can be taken of the head quite easy. They usually weigh ca. 2.5 kg. Field cultivation of this cabbage variety should not present any problems. Seeds are sown directly in April. You may also prepare seedlings that are to be transplanted to the permanent site in May and June.
