The white dahlia (Dahlia) will introduce some order and harmony to every garden arrangement. It does not mean that the proposed variety is boring. Quite the contrary, its huge double flowers that consist of several whorls of tear-shaped, inward bent petals look great both on flower beds and in vases. They look white like the cleanest pristine snow among the large, vividly green leaves. This plant grows 90 to 120 centimetres tall and spreads quite broadly. That is why it will thrive as a stand-alone plant or a background of a colourful flower bed of asters, zinnias, marigolds, snapdragons, and other long flowering species.
Plant dahlia rootstock in spring after the passing of last frost. These plants need an open, sunny site, and a deeply cultivated, moist soil. The ground cannot be too heavy or dry and infertile. Presented perennials respond very well to organic fertilizing with compost that will also give the soil an optimal, medium compact structure. You can enjoy the abundant flowering of the charming white dahlia from July until first frost in October. Dig out the rootstock in autumn and store them in ventilated boxes in a cool room over the winter.
A single package contains 10 large rootstocks of the White dahlia. You will find the essential plant growing instructions on every package.
