African Daisy is an annual plant that grows 30 to 40 centimeters in height. It flowers from the summer to the autumn, from June to late September. The plant is very often used to fill in pots, planters and basins. African Daisy can also be cultivated in various types of rock gardens and looks exceptionally beautiful when it is arranged with cosmidium.
Growing: sow the seeds under heated cover from mid-May to late April. The seeds germinate in 10 to 15 days at 16-20oC. With this variety, pricking out is required. Plant out into a permanent position in the second half of May in 20x30cm spacings. This variety requires light permeable and rich soils in airy sunny positions. Twenty grams of seeds produce around one thousand plants.
