Atlantic Giant Pumpkin is a distinctive variety that produces enormous fruit that can grow up to 300 kilograms in weight. Its trailing shoots are heavily branched, while the fruit round or oval, ribbed, with orange skin. The yellow flesh is rich in vitamins B and C, folic acid, and lecithin. Atlantic Giant Pumpkin fruit can be stored throughout the winter and eaten as soon as they are ripe.
Growing: sow the seeds directly into the soil in early May; sow them in 2x 1.5m spacings, 2 to 3 seeds in each position. Alternatively, you can prepare the seedlings in pots – sow them in late April and plant out into a permanent position in mid-May. This variety grows best in moist fertile soils.
