The Bangladesh gladiolus offers a true feast for the eyes. White large flowers appear on the plants all summer long. A gladiolus stem is surrounded by several long, linear, pointed leaves. Flowers, directed at one side, sit atop the leaves. The magnificent Bangladesh variety produces white petals and inside the flower spreads a subtle creamy-white spot. Delicate, subdued colours and substantial size give this gladiolus a touch of noble elegance. This species is mostly grown for cut flowers. Impressive, tall gladioli look good in modern arranged gardens on irregularly shaped borders. The white colour of the flowers belongs to the easiest to incorporate into a composition, as it suits almost all colours.

Gladioli are sensitive to low temperatures and should therefore be planted in spring. The corms should develop on a sunny site that is sheltered from wind that could damage tall stems carrying heavy flowers. Plant them in spring, in 8 to 12 times 20 centimetres spacings. The average planting depth is eight to ten centimetres. We recommend treating bulbs before planting to protect them from diseases. Gladioli cannot winter in the ground in Central European climate. Starting mid-September, dig out the corms, trim the stems, and let the corms dry. After cleaning the bulbs of stem and root rests, sort them and place in batches into airy containers that should be stored over the winter in dry rooms.

One package contains 5 gladioli bulbs of the presented variety. These bulbs are sized 12/14 centimetres in circumference. The basic plant information and growing instructions can be found on the package label.
