BIO carrot "Berlikumer" - certified organic seeds of Daucus carota - is a reliable late variety, characterized by high productivity and high content of sugars and beta-carotene in its roots. Harvested crops can be eaten raw, but are also ideal for preserves, particularly juices and purees. The roots are long, cylindrical and covered with smooth, evenly coloured skin. Their dark orange, crisp and juicy flesh is rich in vitamins and minerals, especially kalium, calcium, phosphorus and iron.

Direct sow should be planned for early or late spring. Soil for carrot cultivation ought to be very permeable. It is also recommended to make sure it is rich in humus, as this component will ensure proper fertility and water capacity. "Berlikumer" carrot roots can be harvested in autumn, in September and October.
