Canary Grass is an annual plant that grows 70 to 90 centimetres in height. Its unique green flowers resemble cones in shape and grow on relatively tall thin stems. Canary Grass is highly recommended to be used in flower arrangements, flower beds or to be grown in groupings, where it looks particularly wonderful. This plant is also used in fresh or dried bouquets.
Growing: sow the seeds directly into the soil from March to May. The seeds germinate in 8 to 15 days at 15-18oC. Thin the seedlings that germinate too densely. The plants thrive in various types of soil and prefer sunny positionss. 10 to 15 grams of seeds produce around one thousand plants.
