The 'First Harvest' carrot is an early variety. The presented SEED TAPE ensures full work comfort during seeding and the subsequent treatment of your favourite vegetables. The high quality seeds that were placed on a biodegradable tape constitute an excellent solution that allows you to take care of the early season struggles on a vegetable bed.
The magnificent 'First Harvest' variety will supply you with a rich yield of the shapely, evenly sized roots that take on a saturated colour. Their flesh is delicious, crunchy and tender. The carrots of the presented variety stand out from the others with high content of carotene and sugar. The average root length lies between 11 and 13 cm. This variety is recommended for the ongoing consumption and storing. It can be harvested in summer and autumn.
The tapes with the 'First Harvest' carrot seeds should be optimally sown in March and April. Bury them 1 to 3 cm deep, cover with a layer of soil and water thoroughly. Do so from March to May. Keep the rows 40 to 50 cm apart. The harvest takes place from August to October.
The sow with help of a professional seed tape is easy and comfortable. It allows you to make the optimal use of the garden space and reduces the effort. The optimal positioning of the seeds eliminates the need for the cumbersome seedlings thinning and provides the plants with optimal development conditions. The tapes are made entirely of biodegradable, organic materials. They do not impair the quality of the vegetables or the soil in any way.
One package contains 6 metres of seed tape (with ca. 300 seeds). The basic growing instructions and the sow-by date can be found at the back of the package.
