The beautiful Columbus tulip will bring a lot of charm to any arrangement. Its buds open mid-April to reveal fascinating double flowers. Not only the colours, but the the form of picturesque tulips, too, deserve recognition. Broad flowers that consist of about twenty semicircular petals display an amazing pattern. The intensely pink base creates a background for two vertical, bright lines running through each petal. The edges of the flower take on a lighter shade and slightly curl inwards. Columbus tulip is so chic that it is hard to take one's eyes off it.
