"Samurai" snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus maximum) is a magnificent ornamental plant that will adorn your garden until first autumn frosts. This popular garden plant develops compact, erect tufts that grow 100 - 120 cm tall. Extremely large, vividly dark pink blooms appear on the plants at the start of the summer. Typical for this species bilabiate blooms are gathered in long ears. You simply cannot resist their charm and therefore they are worth planting on garden borders. Snapdragons last long in vases and would be a splendid interior decoration.

Sow snapdragon seeds early in spring to a cool hotbed, greenhouse, or late in spring directly to the soil. Seedlings may be transplanted to the borders in May already. The optimal spacings for these tall plants is 30 x 30-25 cm. Snapdragons love sandy-clay, calciferous soil with neutral reaction. Moderately moist and rich in nutrients soil and a sunny site will ensure proper growth and abundant blooming.

Each package contains 0.5 g of the pink "Samurai" common snapdragon seeds. Growing instructions and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
