Dahlia 'Dark Spirit' is a tall pompon variety with densely filled, perfectly spherical flowers. It stands out for its remarkable deep burgundy colour, so dark that in places it appears almost black. Its small, neatly arranged petals form a very compact bloom that holds its shape well even in changeable, poorer weather. The intense flower colour is beautifully set off by green leaves and dark stems. Thanks to its height, it is ideal for the middle and back of a border, flowering reliably from July to September and creating a wonderful contrast with lighter plants.
