Dahlia 'Orange Fubuki' has fully double flowers in warm shades of orange with delicate pink tones. Its narrow, slightly fringed petals give the flower heads a very light and distinctive look. As it grows fairly tall and produces sturdy stems, it is best planted in the middle or back of a border. It flowers abundantly through the second half of summer and into autumn, and its strong stems make the blooms an excellent choice for cutting for the vase.
Plant the tubers from April to May.
The recommended depth is 6-8 cm.
Plant 50-60 cm apart.
This variety reaches 80-100 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
The tubers do not overwinter in the ground; they should be lifted before the first frosts and stored in a cool, dry place.
Dahlia 'Orange Fubuki' is well suited to perennial borders and group plantings. Its warm colouring combines well with varieties in purple, yellow and cream tones. The flowers are also suitable for cutting - they keep their freshness and intense colour well in a vase.
