Dahlia 'Pacific Time' has fully double flowers in which pure white contrasts strongly with rich red. Its neatly arranged petals create a very tidy form. As the plant reaches about 70 cm in height, it is exceptionally versatile. It works beautifully in the middle of a border, but does equally well planted in a larger pot on a balcony or terrace. It flowers abundantly throughout the second half of summer and into autumn, and thanks to its sturdy stems, the bicoloured blooms are excellent for cutting for the vase.
Plant from April to May.
Place it at a depth of about 15 cm.
Allow 40 cm between plants.
This variety reaches about 70 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
After the first frosts, the tubers should be dug up and stored in a cool, dry place.
'Pacific Time' works well in borders with contrasting colours and in larger containers placed on the terrace. The bicoloured flowers combine well with varieties in shades of purple, red and pure white. It is also suitable for cutting - in bouquets, it retains the distinct pattern of its petals and the depth of its colour.
