Dahlia 'Peaches and Cream' has large, rounded flowers with colours that blend seamlessly into one another. The centre is a deep orange, gradually giving way towards the outside to peach streaks on a creamy background, finishing in pure white at the very edges of the petals. As a tall variety that forms dense, compact clumps, it is best placed at the back of a border, where it will provide a backdrop for lower-growing plants. It flowers abundantly throughout the second half of summer and into autumn.
Tubers are best planted from April to May.
The recommended planting depth is 5-7 cm.
Plant 50-60 cm apart.
This variety reaches a height of 110-120 cm.
Flowers from July to October.
These plants are not frost-hardy, so the tubers should be lifted before winter.
'Peaches and Cream' works well in perennial borders and group plantings, where it can provide a warm, brightening accent. It combines well with varieties in burgundy, purple and cream tones. Its large flowers also make it suitable for cutting - in a vase, they hold their shape and delicate colour transitions for a long time.
