The "Topmix Yellow" dahlia is a dwarf variety that develops a single row of sunny yellow petals. It perfectly fits onto low flower beds and edgings. It reliably blooms all summer long, cheering up its surroundings with its bright colour. The small, only 25 to 35 centimetres tall, broadly spreading tufts are perfect for filling ornamental pots and boxes. Their golden, radiating flowers provide a distinct colour accent. The rich dahlia foliage is yet another advantage of the plant that gives them an additional touch of natural elegance. The "Topmix Yellow" dahlia will delight you with the cheerfulness that should not be missed from a summer garden or balcony arrangement.

Dahlias should be planted on sunny and well lit sites. Set the individual plants 20 to 50 centimetres apart. Place their tuberous roots about 5 centimetres deep, from April to June.  Dahlias thrive in sandy-loam, fertile and permeable soil. They require watering during periods of drought. Do not forget to remove wilted flowers.  Dahlias react well to fertilization with manure, compost and mineral fertilizers.

Dahlia tubers cannot winter in the ground and need to be excavated after the first frost in autumn. Cut the stems first and then gently dig out the roots. Place them in open boxes that should be kept in a dry room with a stable temperature within the 2 to 4°C range. You can cover the rootstocks with peat to ensure better storage conditions. If you notice a significant drop in firmness and wrinkles on the surface of the roots, you may wet them sparsely with water.

Each package contains 1 bulb of the "Topmix Yellow" dahlia of premium quality. Basic plant growing instructions were printed on the package label.
