Tiger Blood daylily (Hemerocallis hybrida) develops strikingly attractive blooms that attract attention with their over–average sized and distinct colouring. The creamy–yellow flowers are adorned with large crimson spots. Wavy petal edges take on the same dark colouring. Tiger Blood daylily develops dense, grassy tufts with up to 65 cm in height. It blooms continuously in July and August and repeats blooming often. This variety is suited for elevated perennial borders or as background for the lower growing plants. It looks perfect alone at a lawn or planted in rows alongside fences.

Daylilies are planted in the full sun or light shade in spring or autumn. These plants are easy in cultivation and undemanding, as they thrive in almost every kind of garden soil. They prefer, however, soils rich in nutrients and humus that retain moisture. Daylilies winter in the ground in our climate.
