Digitalis ‘Pam's Choice’ is a standout biennial plant that grows around 120 centimetres in height, with raised upright stems. The most unique feature of this variety is the bell-shaped white flowers with lovely cherry red blotches in each throat; the flowers collectively create densely-packed spikes that develop from the bottom to the top. In flower from August to September, Digitalis ‘Pam's Choice’ is highly recommended for garden arrangements, cut flower or flower beds.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover or in a seedbed from May to June. The seeds germinate in 2 to 3 weeks at 18-20°C. Plant out into a permanent position in 30x40cm spacings from August to September. This variety requires fertile permeable soils, which should be kept slightly moist, in sunny or semi-shaded positions.
